"It is so valuable having you here! We could have just wandered into this place [the British Museum] and out again, having missed all the big stuff." - Hilary (Cleveland, Ohio)

Biografía: I was born in Islington, north London, living in London all my life until moving out to Windsor a few years ago. Most of my working life has been spent as a Customs Officer at Heathrow airport, with the enjoyable experience of speaking to different people from all over the world who were visiting London. I’ve also done the daily commute into London and had a spell working in South Africa on behalf of the British Government.

I help to run the local Wildlife Watch Group for 7-12 year olds, and have four school-age children of my own.

Your time in London is precious, so don’t waste it - let me show you the celebrated sights – St. Paul’s Cathedral; the Tower of London; Buckingham Palace; Westminster Abbey. I will ensure you catch all the must-sees, but also the details that most visitors don’t see, and the stories they don’t hear…

I’ll illustrate why the galleries and museums in London are world renowned – making sure you see the highlights, but also some lesser known artefacts, with equally interesting stories to tell….

And best of all; London’s secrets – remains of mediaeval palaces; inns from the times of Dickens; graffiti carved by a bored American GI on sentry duty in 1944…

And of course, Windsor, where I now live. It boasts the largest inhabited castle in the world, the Queen’s weekend home, and burial place of ten British monarchs. It includes the Great Park with thousand year old oak trees; Eton College as well as the peaceful River Thames, complete with swans and brightly decorated old canal boats, so different from downstream in London …

If there’s anything that you are particularly interested in, let me know.

I look forward to welcoming you to this great world city.
